Celebrate Uganda organization in Uganda
Celebrate Uganda is a registered NGO (Non-profitable Organisation) in Uganda (Entebbe Wakiso District).
The organization specializes in the art of transforming cultural talents and people’s inner-abilities, into positive social and income-generating cultural activities.
Aim of the activities:
These activities contribute to positive change, increase employment, promote a positive lifestyle for the citizens of Uganda, and encourage social development in Uganda.
Celebrate Uganda was founded in 2012 in both England and Sweden, its sister organization was founded in 2018 in Uganda.
With the filming and cultural actives in Uganda, the organization has grown rapidly in Uganda allowing several thousand people to take part in the activities.
In light of the many challenges facing the country, of which is the fact that the country has the world’s youngest population, Uganda is also one of the top ten African countries that’s most heavily impacted by unemployment, poverty, and AIDS.
As part of Celebrate Uganda’s vision and a solution to some of the problems that the country is facing, Celebrate Uganda is helping to generate employment, educate, invest and partner with organizations and individuals working towards positive solutions.
This includes, but is not be limited to, creating positive cultural and sporting events, partnering with businesses that want to support and provide voluntary and/or paid work, empowering women (through education, Saloon-hair styling and cloth design, art, etc),
and inspiring the locals to do something positive for their community, providing internships, sponsoring events with opportunities for creative management, holding seminars on various occasions, etc.
